As an assistant operations manager, you will be required to:

• Coordinating installation teams across multiple projects
• Assisting with the procurement and management of materials, tools, and equipment
• Monitoring the progress of installations to ensure they meet quality and industry standards
• Communicating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates
• Suppotting the resolution of on-site issues and ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements
• Keeping accurate records, including risk assessments and method statements
• Developing an understanding of different roof types, structural considerations, and installation techniques

The ideal candidate will be:

• A genuine interest in renewable energy, particularly Solar PV and Heat Pump technologies
• Some background in construction, electrical work, or site coordination is an advantage, but not essential
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of stakeholders
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
