    Our client is currently searching for a Senior Project Developer (Solar) to join their team!

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the development of a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.

    • Work closely with internal teams specializing in grid management, planning, and development to drive projects forward and mitigate risks.

    • Identify and implement innovative solutions for technical, regulatory, and planning challenges.

    • Deliver high-quality planning applications that consider key factors and community interests.

    • Manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships, including landowners, authorities, consultants, and colleagues.

    • Maintain and enhance development tools such as project trackers and risk registers.

    • Prepare comprehensive progress reports and presentations, highlighting key risks for internal review.

    • Mentor junior team members, ensuring balanced workload distribution and fostering professional development.

    • Support the origination team in maintaining a continuous pipeline of projects.

    • Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and risk assessments for development programs.

    Required Expertise:
    • Proven track record in developing utility-scale/NSIP projects.

    • Strong experience in UK renewable energy project development, with international exposure preferred.

    • Knowledge of additional technologies such as wind or hydrogen energy.

    • Comprehensive understanding of project development, including commercial, financial, and contractual aspects.

    • Expertise in late-stage development processes, including transition to construction or project sales.

    • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and integrate seamlessly with development teams.

    • Leadership experience with a focus on cultivating high-performing teams.

    • Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
