This role is ideal for an experienced electrician looking to further their career in renewable energy, with the opportunity to lead on large-scale commercial installations and expand into emerging technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging systems.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical installation and commissioning of ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar PV systems
Installation of heat pump systems (optional, depending on experience)
Servicing and maintenance of solar PV systems
Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers
Conducting professional customer handovers
Leading installation teams on-site
Communicating effectively with both clients and colleagues
Travelling to various job sites (a valid driving licence is essential; a company vehicle is provided)
Key Requirements
While we welcome fully qualified engineers, the following skills and attributes are especially desirable:
Skills & Experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience leading small installation teams
Previous experience with Solar PV system installation (essential)
Experience with battery storage systems (advantageous)
Qualifications
Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or equivalent (essential)
2391 Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (preferred)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
IPAF or Working at Heights certification (advantageous)
Health & Safety or First Aid certification (advantageous)
