The Role:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team, where you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced analytical methods for wind turbine data. This includes working with a variety of data sources, such as vibration, SCADA, oil, and maintenance data, to deliver insights that drive operational efficiency and enable predictive maintenance solutions.

You will collaborate with domain experts and developers to create innovative data and analytics consultancy offerings that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, a background in the energy sector (preferably renewables), and experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and Python. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the renewable energy industry through data-driven solutions.

What you'll do:

1. Develop and implement advanced analytical methods for wind turbine data analysis across a wide range of data sources e.g. vibration, SCADA, Oil, maintenance.
2. Research and evaluate ML techniques applicable to time-series data and signal processing.
3. Research and Evaluate Machine Learning techniques to identify opportunities for new or improved methods.
4. Collaborate with domain experts and developers to create new data and analytics consultancy offerings.
5. Support the delivery of data and analytics consultancy services.

Ideally you'll have/be:

1. Strong analytical background, ideally in energy sector, preferably renewables.
2. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Power BI and Python.
3. Effective communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Basic understanding of data pipelines and working with data engineers to establish new pipelines and improve existing ones.
5. Advanced statistical and machine learning expertise relevant to Wind Turbine Analytics.
6. Knowledge or experience of Signal Processing for vibration data.
7. Knowledge of wind turbine engineering concepts applied to data analytics.
8. Experience with SQL Databases and AWS S3.
