We are seeking on behalf of our client an experienced Solar PV Designer to join their team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector while advancing your career in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

You will be responsible for creating bespoke solar PV system designs that meet client requirements and comply with industry standards, focusing on optimising energy output.

• To design and develop Commercial-scale Solar PV systems
• Assisting with site assessments and feasibility studies to prepare detailed layouts, SLDs and schematics.
• Collaborating with internal sales and installation teams to ensure cost-effective and practical designs.
• Providing technical guidance to internal departments and clients alike and assisting with proposal preparation and technical documentation.

• Experience as a Solar PV Design Engineer
• Proficient with PV Sol, AutoCAD or similar
• Up to date knowledge of UK building regulations and renewable energy industry standards
• Degree or diploma in renewable energy, electrical engineering or a related field is advantageous
• Able to work office based in Newcastle
