We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Environmental Manager.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Sustainability Manager. The Environmental Manager will lead the development and implementation of environmental strategies focused on achieving Net Zero goals and managing waste, water, and energy efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, driving continuous improvement in environmental performance, and supporting broader sustainability initiatives, including detailed reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for effective data analysis and reporting.

An overview of the role is detailed below:

• Policy & Compliance: Develop and implement environmental policies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Sustainability Leadership: Drive initiatives in waste, water, energy, and carbon reduction.
• Data & Reporting: Manage environmental data and ensure compliance with SECR, CCA, and audits.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams, suppliers, and regulators to align sustainability efforts.
• Training & Development: Promote environmental awareness through training programs.
• Audit & Certification: Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 compliance and manage audits.
• Project Management: Lead sustainability projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communication & Representation: Represent the company at events and contribute to key meetings.
• Operational Support: Assist the Sustainability Manager and handle queries when needed.

Ideally, candidates will have experience within environmental management, along with strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

A degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field would be required.
