Our highly respected renewables department in the UK and Ireland provides consulting engineers, data insights, deep technology expertise, modelling and software solutions. We do this to enable the successful rollout of renewable power and to deliver the energy transition. We are engaged in all phases, from initial concept evaluation through construction and commissioning into operations, life extension and decommissioning.
Within Renewables, our storage and power grid section consists of over 20 specialists, delivering engineering consultancy services to support the energy transition. In energy storage, we support lenders and developers across all energy storage technologies. While we primarily work with grid-scale lithium-ion batteries, we are also deeply involved in the collocation of renewable generation with storage, as well as other technologies like Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) and Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES). We are working to solve the challenges facing the electricity networks as they adapt to a decarbonised grid; face unprecedented volume of new connections; and look to expand transmission networks offshore.
