This company are looking toi appoint a Sales Manager to lead the companys commerical team in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing key customer relationships, and overseeing the sales team's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
2. Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored steel solutions.
3. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of individual and team goals.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
5. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to make strategic business recommendations.
6. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.
7. Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the steel distribution industry.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
4. In-depth knowledge of steel products and the broader industrial market.
5. Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
6. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
