Dandara is recruiting for a Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join our Northern Home Counties region. Initially, you will oversee development projects across this region, which currently cover Bedfordshire , Buckinghamshire , and Leicestershire , with an opportunity to expand your responsibilities to our upcoming Thames Valley and Midlands sites.

Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Environment, you will play a key role in supporting our regional business and site teams. This position requires regular travel across sites, with accommodation and travel costs covered where necessary.

What you will do:

• Conducting site health, safety, and environmental inspections and advisory visits.
• Engaging with contractors to support and develop health and safety practices.
• Delivering internal health and safety training to employees.
• Providing CDM support and guidance to project teams.
• Supporting internal departments with health and safety advice.
• Contributing to monthly health and safety meetings with updates such as good and bad practice examples, inspection scores, and incident reports.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety professional who is passionate about maintaining and improving safety standards.

You will have:

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or IIRSM qualifications.
• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within the construction or residential development sector.
• Strong knowledge of current H&S legislation.
• A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in the construction or residential development industry.
