Environmental Manager Connahs Quay, North Wales

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Environmental Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is based in Connahs Quay, North Wales, with support for weekly travel and accommodation costs. The salary is up to £55k, and the role is Monday to Friday.

Role Overview:
As Environmental Manager, you will report directly to the Directors and oversee all environmental activities for the company, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 standards and improving environmental performance across head office and site locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and delivering environmental plans to meet contract objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and managing statutory audits.
• Training and mentoring staff on Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
• Supporting with permits, RAMS, and high-risk activities.
• Driving continuous improvement through audits, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

What Were Looking For:

• IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
• 510 years experience in environmental management (gas/oil industry preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, CDM 2015 regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Strong IT and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Full UK driving license.
