Electrician required for our client who currently design, supply & install rooftop solar systems for the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician, living in the Worcester area. Previous experience with Solar PV is essential and within a commercial setting would be extremely advantageous. You must be willing to travel and stay away as location of projects will vary. Package: • £43,000+ starting salary per annum • Bonus package (5-8k) • Company Van • 22 days holiday • Bupa healthcare • Company Pension • All expenses paid when a stay away is required including a meal allowance Duties: • Install, configure, and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components according to design specifications • Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar PV systems to existing electrical systems. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to solar panel systems. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met. • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment. • Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of equipment, materials used, and work performed. Qualifications: • Level 3 NVQ Electrical installations • 18th Edition • 2391 test and inspection • Previous experience in solar panel installation or renewable energy projects is preferred.
