Solar Electrician / mate / Improver

Solar Electrician/Improver required to work around the Chelmsford area.

My client is happy to take on a Domestic Improver/Mate/electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
• Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
• Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
• Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Training will be provided
• CSCS card or ECS card (of some grading)
• UTR/CIS registered (essential)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification, not essential
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).
• Full UK driving license.
