Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a key player in the UK's Renewable Energy push. We're looking for a Operations Manager on a one year fixed term contract to join the team to cover for a maternity period. The business develop, own and operate energy generating assets across (mainly) EV charging, solar and battery storage.

The Operations Manager role comes with a salary of up to 55,000 plus a huge company benefits list.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery you will:

• Be responsible for the management of operational assets, acting as necessary to solve issues in a timely manner
• Manage the Technical Support and Deployment team, ensuring best in class service delivery
• Manage and ensure the successful agreement and deployment of maintenance plans
• Ensure continual management of the operational assets, reporting and staying up to date
• Raising issues with any EV chargers and raising tickets with the appropriate suppliers
• Manage client status reports
• Work closely with the Head of Service Delivery to support the onboarding of new assets after commissioning
• Quickly build and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
• Managing 6 direct reports who are providing technical support and maintenance deployment

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Similar experience in a previous role
• Knowledge of solar PV, BESS or EV charging is desirable but not essential
• A good/basic understanding of contracts and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Basic working knowledge of HSE regulations
