A leading company specialising in utility-scale solar and storage solutions is looking for a talented Senior Legal Counsel to join their team.

The Company:

An international Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on the development, financing, and operation of solar PV and battery storage projects. From initial project origination to full-scale operation, the company ensures sustainable and efficient energy solutions on a global scale.

The Role:

As Senior Legal Counsel some of your duties will be:

• Providing legal support for EPC, O&M, and Dev/IPP projects.
• Negotiate and review contracts with lenders and stakeholders.
• Draft and review agreements, tenders, and commercial documents.
• Offering legal counsel on regulatory compliance, licensing, and the development of new projects.
• Update existing contract templates and create new templates.
• Monitor corporate documents and manage litigation cases.
• Support Operations & Services with commercial agreements.
• Ensure compliance across projects.
• Career growth within 2 years.

The Person:

• Holds a Law Degree (Germany), with familiarity in English Law.
• Brings at least 5 years of experience in law firms or corporate settings.
• Demonstrates expertise in renewable energy, especially solar PV and battery storage.
• Proficient in corporate, commercial, and construction law.
• Understands distribution, consumer laws, and regulations.
• Native German speaker, fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and complex renewable energy projects.
