    About the Role:


    Amber Renewables are partnered with a leading renewable energy company to find a skilled BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Project Manager. This pivotal role focuses on managing battery storage projects from the later development stages through construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Project Management: Lead the delivery of battery energy storage projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Technical Oversight: Monitor design, installation, and commissioning to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
    • Documentation: Oversee project documentation, reporting on progress, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
    • Handover: Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations, delivering fully functional and optimised systems.


    Requirements:


    • Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing BESS or renewable energy projects.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of battery energy storage systems and renewable technologies.
    • Strong project management skills with experience in budget and resource control.
    • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; familiarity with technical software is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel within Germany as needed.
