Technical Asset Manager Hamburg Onshore wind up to €90k

About the Role:

Amber Renewables is collaborating with a leading international IPP that holds a dominant position in the onshore wind market across Germany and Europe. We're seeking an experienced Technical Asset Manager to join their team in Hamburg. In this key role, you will oversee the technical and administrative management of assets in Germany, ensuring their smooth operation, regulatory compliance, and performance optimisation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of wind farms, ensuring they run efficiently and in line with contractual agreements
• Prepare and manage annual production and financial forecasts for the assets
• Investigate and resolve any operational issues, identifying causes of plant failures and implementing corrective measures, including coordinating potential claims with external suppliers
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to improved profitability
• Ensure all wind farm operations are in full compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including any audit-related requirements
• Lead the coordination of insurance claims and incident reporting following plant faults or accidents
• Support both the active and passive stages of the operational cycle, ensuring seamless execution
• Take responsibility for both the commercial and technical aspects of the wind farm's operational management
• Manage relationships with maintenance contractors, including budget creation, cost tracking, and overseeing ongoing maintenance activities

What You'll Bring:

• A degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in a similar technical asset management role within the renewable energy or wind sector
• Fluency in German and a professional level of English (both written and spoken)
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with SAP ERP is a plus
