Join Our Team as a Project Developer in Berlin

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Project Developer to strengthen our project development department. The role involves the following responsibilities:

• Overseeing projects throughout the entire development cycle.
• Acquiring and strategically developing solar energy projects.
• Identifying and securing suitable land for open-space photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Leading acquisition discussions and negotiating usage agreements with property owners.
• Communicating with municipalities and cities, presenting projects to their committees.
• Preparing grid connection requests and liaising with grid operators.
• Calculating and monitoring project development costs.
• Coordinating external planners, specialists, and authorities on topics such as land-use planning, environmental assessments, species protection, and building permits.
• Assisting in the commissioning and evaluation of expert reports.
• Maintaining relationships with all internal and external project stakeholders, including internal teams, planners, authorities, property owners, and others.

Your Expertise and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction and planning law.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with construction and planning regulations.
• GIS expertise is a plus.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Excellent command of German (C2 level); English proficiency is advantageous.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities.
• Confident, reliable, and well-organized, with a results-oriented approach.
• Independent, structured, and flexible, with a willingness to travel nationally for business.
