    About the Company: With MW of Projects developed since 2012 and an additional +6GW currently in Development, my client a leading Photovoltaics Expert in the German and International Market are a looking for an experienced EPC Manager Chief Technical Officer for their East German Division.


    For this initiative, my client requires a highly seasoned engineer (8+ Years of Experience), German-speaking, with experience in grid operations, construction, and handling projects through to commercial operations date (COD). The ideal candidate should have established relationships with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), experience with external consultants, and a deep understanding of project development from the technical side.


    Key Details:

    • Location: Ideally in eastern Germany (around Berlin), with flexibility for remote work. Köln is also a feasible option for the right person.
    • Team Structure: The platform will consist of a small, entrepreneurial-minded team, including a project manager, technical person, and external consultants. The goal is to efficiently bring large-scale projects to the ready-to-build stage.
    • Compensation: Attractive, with equity incentives and a focus on upside potential. An experienced EPC Manager can expect to earn around 150k-180k EUR annually, depending on experience.
    • Requirements: 8+ years of experience in the German energy sector, including taking assets through the value chain. Fluency in German is crucial, especially for working with TSOs who primarily speak German.
    • Role: The engineer would be responsible for handling the technical aspects of grid operations, EPCs, and ensuring compliance with systems, as well as managing relationships with grid operators.


    Next Steps: My client aims to move quickly, and the interview process includes an initial call followed by an in-person meeting but start dates can extend until March April May if necessary.
