Job Title: Construction Project Manager (Wind Energy) / Projektmanager / Projektleiter

Location: Berlin, Hamburg, Northern Germany

Salary: Up to €100,000 + Company Car

Piper Maddox is working with a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Europe, supporting their rapidly growing wind energy division in Germany. With over 400 employees from diverse backgrounds, this company is a leader in innovative wind energy projects and is expanding its team in Berlin.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage wind farm projects from approval to commissioning, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Vendor Management: Oversee the tendering process and contract external vendors for all required construction services.
• Execution Planning: Develop and monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion within budget limits.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.
• Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular project updates, maintain comprehensive documentation, and coordinate a seamless handover to the operations team upon project completion.
• Technical Support: Offer engineering expertise to acquisition and development teams to support new project initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Proven experience with construction contracts and tendering
• Wind energy experience preferred; strong candidates with experience in complex civil engineering projects will also be considered
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• C1-level German proficiency
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
