Job Title: Roofer/Solar Installer (Contract Basis)

Location: Kent

Rate of Pay: 250- 350 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer/Solar Installer to join our team on an ongoing contract basis for our client, a leading renewables company based in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and solar panel installation, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
• Perform roofing work, including repairs and new installations
• Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations
• Conduct site assessments and prepare roofs for solar panel installation
• Work collaboratively with other team members and subcontractors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a roofer and solar installer
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with solar panel installation processes and equipment
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus
