Role Overview

As the Electrical Manager for Solar, Battery Storage, and EV, you will oversee the complete project lifecycle from initial planning to successful installation and client handover. You will lead a skilled team of electricians, ensuring safety, quality, and technical excellence in all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage solar, battery storage, and EV projects from conception to completion.
• Supervise and mentor a team of qualified electricians.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients to deliver customised renewable energy solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in renewable energy technologies.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391-52: Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing.
• City & Guilds 2399-13: Solar PV Installation qualifications.
• City & Guilds 2399-42/43: Battery Storage qualifications.
• City & Guilds 2919-01: EV Charger Installation qualifications.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification is desirable.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Experience in solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging installations.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Working Hours and Location

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week, can be flexible depending on business needs.
• Based near Bedworth, CV12 9NH.
• Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
