Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

Salary: £75-85k (% pension)

Location: Basildon - 2 office days/week

A global Financial Services company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a strong GCP background.

They're about to embark on a huge modernisation project, migrating all of their Data platforms and warehousing to GCP, so it's a great opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer to make their mark and influence the technical roadmap.

Must have requirements:

• GCP
• BigQuery
• at least one of: Dataform, Dataflow or Dataproc
• Python
• SQL

Bonus points for:

• migration experience - Teradata to GCP / BigQuery would be ideal
• having worked in a regulated environment
• understanding of Data Security/Governance/Compliance
• Airflow
• CI/CD
• Terraform

VISA sponsorship is available for this position, but you have to be based in the UK already - relocation from abroad is unfortunately not an option, so please do not apply if you're based outside of UK.
