    Environmental Planner - Bristol - Competitive

They're seeking a talented Environmental Planner with expertise in battery storage to help them navigate the intersection of energy innovation and environmental stewardship.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Environmental Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of battery storage projects, including land use, wildlife habitat, air quality, and water resources.

    2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

    3. Sustainable Design: Collaborate with engineers and designers to integrate environmentally sustainable practices into battery storage project planning and implementation.

    4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with community stakeholders, environmental organizations, and regulatory agencies to address concerns and promote transparent, environmentally responsible project development.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Ecology, or related field.
    • Proven experience in environmental planning, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
    • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and best practices for environmental mitigation.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse stakeholders.
