Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with an award- winning utility scale solar company, specialising in a variety of quality focused services to recruit a General Manager, working remotely.

The strategically important General Manager role comes with a salary between 75,000- 85,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Group COO you will:

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects and services.
• Guarantee timely completion of deliverables, including data collection and reporting.
• Maintain high client satisfaction and performance standards.
• Collaborate with technical team leaders to create comprehensive and professional proposals that align with business objectives.
• Track and report profit and loss, alongside quarterly business performance metrics, to the executive team.
• Manage invoicing processes efficiently to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Implement effective communication strategies to ensure alignment of client expectations with project outcomes.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, fostering strong, transparent relationships through consistent and professional communication.
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement by identifying innovative solutions to enhance processes and resolve challenges.
• Evaluate team capacity and recommend recruitment strategies to address resource gaps and support company expansion

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Degree qualified in a technical discipline, ideally electrically biased
• Operational and management experience
• Full driving license

Personal skills

The General Manager role would suit someone who is:

• Excellent organisational skills
• Proficient in multi-tasking and able to manage multiple changing priorities
• Strong communication skills, in writing and verbally
• Financial management and cash flow understanding
• Health & Safety and quality management knowledge
