For temporary support of the team, I am looking for a highly experienced (technical) procurement specialist. You will be working for an ambitious scale-up with a strong focus on the development of large-scale solar energy projects.
They have offices spread across the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, but your presence at the Eindhoven office is highly appreciated, at least 3 times a week. On the other days, you can work either from home or from one of the other offices.
Are you available asap for at least 4 days a week, do you have extensive experience in procurement in a technical environment (with a strong preference for Renewables/Solar)? And do you have demonstrable knowledge of the Chinese market?
The expectation is a commitment of at least 3 months, but there is a very real chance of extension.

Within this organization, they develop, finance, build, and manage large-scale solar parks. The time between contract formation and the start of construction is becoming increasingly shorter, which means their purchasing/inventory strategies must constantly change. The purchasing strategies are not limited to the Netherlands. They are actively working on project activities in Germany and Belgium, but are organizing purchasing directly from the Netherlands.
In this role, you will be strategically co-responsible for the entire purchasing and supply chain of the organization. You will work alongside a team of 5 experienced colleagues, including 3 category buyers, one procurement support, and a procurement coordinator. We also ask that you continuously challenge yourself and the team, thereby maintaining the quality of purchasing and supply chain management.
