The Role

We re looking for an experienced PV Installer with a keen eye for quality to join our installation team. You will join a growing and ambitious team that has an emphasis on delivering quality installations in this exciting industry. You will have a proven ability within the industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You ll need excellent organisational skills and strong leadership skills as you ll be responsible for overseeing the work of your small team. We re also looking for a proactive approach to problem solving and a positive attitude to health and safety. You must be willing to travel within your local regions and flexible to work a range of hours (with occasional overnight stays).

Responsibilities

• Installation of Solar PV on new build, domestic & commercial properties.
• Managing a small team (typically one other Installer).
• Setting out and stringing the panels as per the design provided.
• Running and connecting the DC cables.
• Gathering photo evidence.
• Completing relevant forms through our app-based system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in solar PV installation.
• PAF and telehandler licence a distinct advantage.
• Methodical, accurate and process focused approach to tasks.
• Flexibility to work and travel throughout the UK.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, follow technical drawings measure distances, and perform calculations using phone or calculator.
• CSCS card and site experience is required.
• You must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Full UK manual Driving License.

You will be issued with a company vehicle, a fuel card and uniform. The role is weekly paid.
