  • Aqua Tech is pleased to be recruiting for our client, a leading provider of biomass boiler systems with an excellent reputation for delivering comprehensive operation and maintenance services. Our client is seeking to expand their team by hiring a full-time Biomass Service Engineer based in the Glasgow area.

    Role Overview
    The successful candidate will perform service, maintenance, and repair tasks on completed biomass boiler projects. This role will be based out of Glasgow, with travel to various sites as part of daily duties.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Respond promptly to reactive callouts for time-critical breakdowns, including out-of-hours support for biomass, mechanical, and electrical issues.
    • Provide improvement suggestions for installed systems and submit detailed reports.
    • Conduct servicing of boilers and submit related reports.
    • Collaborate effectively with site and office-based engineers.
    • Complete field reports using digital devices.
    • Ensure job site cleanliness is maintained.
    • Carry out additional tasks as required by management.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

    Essential Criteria:

    • Proven engineering experience in service, maintenance, and repair of biomass boiler systems.
    • Experience in service and commissioning of biomass boilers.
    • Full, valid driving license.

    Desired Criteria:

    • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background.
    • Experience in the commercial plumbing and heating industry.
