    Role Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced EV Charger Installation Technician to join our team on a Sub contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing electric vehicle (EV) chargers at residential properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with our partners, Octopus Energy, Shell, and Ohme, to support their growing demand for EV infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install EV chargers at domestic properties according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
    • Perform site assessments to determine the best installation locations and ensure electrical compatibility.
    • Carry out electrical wiring and testing to ensure safe and efficient operation of EV chargers.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the installation process.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication with clients and addressing any concerns.
    • Maintain accurate records of installations, including photographs, diagrams, and installation reports.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. (MUST)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installations.
    • experience in EV charger installations (preferred)
    • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2391.(MUST)
    • Gold card (desired)
