  • Our client is seeking a motivated Commercial Analyst with strong financial modelling skills to join their expanding development team. The role involves conducting financial analysis for solar PV and energy storage projects in the UK, Spain, New Zealand, and new markets. The focus is on financial modelling, transaction support for projects at the "ready to build" stage, and project valuations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial modelling and valuation for solar projects in multiple countries.
    • Supporting the sale of large-scale solar PV projects.
    • Financial analysis for CfD auctions and PPA negotiations.
    • Preparing sales documentation, such as teasers and information memoranda.
    • Project budget management and investor reporting.
    • Assisting the development team with planning processes and submissions.
    • Coordinating with suppliers and technical advisors.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in energy, finance, or engineering.
    • 2-5 years industry experience.
    • Strong financial modelling skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
    • Background in development or renewable energy.
    • Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
