    About Us:

    We are a leading international player in the renewable energy sector, specialising in power distribution solutions and we are seeking a driven and results-oriented Applications and Pre-Qualification Manager to manage technically complex customer inquiries and pre-qualifications within the renewables sector.

    This pivotal role requires you to consolidate essential information, from technical specifications to sustainability data, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our OEM and key customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, driving them through the approval process while collaborating with sales teams.
    • Gather and analyse technical, sustainability, and compliance data required for customer approvals, liaising closely with engineering and legal departments.
    • Develop an understanding of the specific requirements of the renewables market, providing feedback to inform product and engineering strategies.
    • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues with internal teams to ensure smooth approvals.
    • Assist with customer negotiations post-quotation and support the transition to engineering upon order confirmation.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to optimize customer approval processes.
    • Champion the understanding of the renewable energy market within the organization, sharing insights and best practices.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or commercial role, preferably in the renewables or electricity distribution sectors.
    • Engineering background with an understanding or experience of DNO.
    • Fundamental understanding of switchgear or related technologies.
    • Experience with design software (e.g., Eplan, Teamcenter) to facilitate bespoke material generation.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Full UK Driving licence.
