    Location: Manchester, UK

    Purobuild have partnered with a leading sustainability consultancy who are seeking a motivated and passionate Sustainability Consultant to join their sustainability team based in Manchester. They work with a range of fantastic clients across various sectors including; Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Residential, MOD, private and public sectors. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years UK based consultancy experience in sustainability consulting. It is essential to the role that the candidate has extensive experience conducting life cycle assessments and whole life carbon reports in the built environment and construction sectors. Also the candidate should hold a relevant degree qualification in sustainability, environmental studies, building services or a related field.

    As a Sustainability Consultant - Whole Life Carbon / Life Cycle Assessments, your main responsibilities will include:

    -Conducting life cycle assessments and analysis of buildings using One-Click LCA and Whole Life Carbon reports
    -Providing expert advice to clients across all sectors on sustainability policies, regulations, and best practices
    -Developing and implementing sustainability strategies, management plans and action plans for clients
    -Supporting the delivery of sustainability certifications such as BREEAM/LEED/WELL
    -Developing sustainability-related reports, presentations and technical documentation

    Requirements:

    -Minimum of 2 years experience in sustainability consulting.
    -Relevant degree qualification in sustainability, environmental studies, building services or a related field.
    -Qualifications in BREEAM, LEED, One-Click LCA etc are desired
    -Strong project management skills and ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    -Ability to work independently and as part of a team, liasing with members of the engineering, design and digital team.
    -Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.

    A competitive salary on offer typically between 35,000 - 45,000, however this depends on technical skills and level of experience. Generous benefits package on offer, see details below.
