    Planet Mark is owned by Alcumus and sits as a stand-alone division within the Alcumus group alongside the Safe Contractor Division and the ISOQAR division. Alcumus is a successful and globally expanding enterprise with a longstanding commitment to promoting safer and more sustainable workplaces.

    We are looking for a confident, energetic and inspiring Engagement Manager to support the delivery of our sustainability/decarbonising workshops and webinars. This role supports our members to embed sustainability at the core of their organisations, unlocking the talent, knowledge and passion among their employees. We achieve this by providing a range of engagement services, including a suite of online workshops, events and bespoke advisory services.

    Reporting into our Head of Engagement, our Engagement Managers deliver online and in-person workshops to our members and can tailor the content to the relevant audience. Successful applicants will have experience delivering engaging online workshops and have a passion for sustainability, ideally with knowledge of business sustainability and experience in learning and development.


    What that means day to day
    • Deliver our sustainability/decarbonisation workshops and webinars digitally (via Zoom and Teams) for Planet Mark Members and the wider public.
    • Deliver engaging and informative workshops in person at different locations across the country for our members and partners.
    • Support with the creation of new content for Planet Mark's growing suite of engagement services and training material.
    • Work collaboratively with our Strategy and Communications specialists to help support Members on a net zero journey.
    • Facilitating key conversations and events for our members, with focus on net zero targets, decarbonisation innovation, and supplier engagement.
    • Develop understanding of Member business operations and sustainability ambitions.
    • Remain up to date with the latest sustainability/climate news, frameworks and policy to enable informed conversations with Members.
    • Record data and outputs from learning/engagement activities in our systems, particularly in Dynamics.
    • Report on relevant KPIs.

    What you'll need to be successful

    To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in business sustainability and decarbonisation solutions. You will possess excellent knowledge of what Net Zero means for business and scopes of emissions. You will require experience in public speaking, hosting, and facilitation roles both in person and virtually.

    • Understanding of GHG Protocol and SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard.
    • Sector-specific knowledge involving global supply chains would be desirable.
    • Proficient use of online communication platforms (mainly Zoom and Teams), Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to travel nationwide to virtual sessions.
