    Location: Salts Mill, Saltaire, Shipley, BD18 3LA (Hybrid)

    Full-time, Permanent

    Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

    Salary: £40,000 + bonus/commission + Benefits

    The Role

    As the UK continues its efforts to decarbonise the electricity and heating sectors, the demand for renewable energy solutions is rapidly increasing. JLM m&e Ltd is at the forefront of this transition, developing large-scale solar PV and commercial air source heat pump projects. If you are passionate about tackling climate change and have a strong background in sales, this could be your opportunity to make a significant impact.

    As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team focused on the origination, development, and delivery of large solar PV projects. Your responsibilities will include

    • Securing high-value B2B sales, demonstrating a successful track record in securing high-value business-to-business sales.
    • Marketing Material Management
    • Managing and updating marketing materials
    • Gain entry into procurement frameworks
    • Respond to tenders and manage sales leads
    • Maintain CRM and report on sales pipelines
    • Utilising in-house research to identify landowners and facility owners within target markets.
    • Handling general sales administration tasks.

    The Candidate

    • A strong interest in sustainability and renewable energy
    • A degree, HND, or A-Level in business administration, sales, or marketing
    • Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Experience in renewable energy sales or transferable sales skills
    • Marketing experience is a plus

    Your primary workplace will be at Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire. The role involves national coverage, with the potential for travel based on client requirements. The company encourages the use of public transport in line with its commitment to low-carbon technologies.
