Job Title: Senior Solar PV CAD Designer

Location: Gloucester

Pay Range/details: £37,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega are supporting the one of the largest electrical and solar installers in the UK in their search for a Solar PV CAD Designer to support the design team, ensuring our installers and clients have access to accurate Solar designs.

Key Responsibilities Senior Solar PV CAD Designer

• Overseeing a minimum team of two (CAD designer and Design Administrator).
• Providing technical CAD support to other members of the team.
• Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and design briefs.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Managing multiple projects and assigning projects to designers.
• Reviewing designs prior to issuing for installation.
• Ensuring projects are prioritised to meet tight deadlines.
• Creating solar PV designs using AutoCAD as and when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements Senior Solar PV CAD Designer

• Experience supervising a small team.
• Minimum of 2 years AutoCAD experience.
• PVSol or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
• Electrical/Solar PV knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
• Organised and the ability to prioritise several projects.
